    THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! My Ducane furnace is in my attic, installed horizontally, I didn't even think about laying down and looking up to find the data plate LOL

    If you install the 19V36 board in a furnace that is dual-speed heat, the furnace will then be single-speed heat as the 19V36 board doesn’t support dual speed. Also, if the 19V36 install guide tells you to put the red “ACB LOW” wire on the “CONT” terminal of the 19V36 board - don’t do it. If you do this, your blower will run on low speed 7/24 continuously even when the thermostat is off. Instead, move that wire to one of the 19V36 board PARK terminals. The ACB LOW red wire is the low speed blower wire, and there is no low speed function after installing the 19V36 board, so the correct terminal for it on the 19V36 board is one of the PARK terminals. A PARK terminal is not connected to anything - it’s just a place to put an unused wire.

    I have a question please… I like your video, but My new control module board is like this one that you are showing in the video. The old board that I have has a neutral wire going next to the spark wire that is not shown on your old board. Do I simply omit this or is there a place on the new board to connect this to?

    Mine is a three wire and the original came with a black a purple and a brown. the new one come with a black a white and to browns. I understand that the brown with the white stripe is not needed so does the white wire act as the purple?

    I've replaced two boards in a 2-1/2-3yr period so far. Board wouldn't let me clear the code. Also, it would never go in soft lockout mode. That's when I figured it was the board. Who's making these boards for Lennox?

  • @joseorta9928

    so the thermostat is powerd by 12v DC current batterys and it sends the signal to the 12v DC current coil on the contactor so than the contacts close and send 120v to start the compressor and fan¿¿ am I correct??

    ¿What is the reason that the outer material is metallic instead of a dielectric insulator? Is it to dissipate heat?

    The board you installed doesn’t look like it is a 19V36. It looks like a 83M00. Your title says both? Your video is excellent.

    Is this style of contactor orientation sensitive?...meaning.....as long as you're mindful of "L" connections used for power-in....and "T" connections for power-out....can the unit be mounted either right-side up or upside down? ( printed material on the cover is then upside down?).....I think it doesn't matter, but thought to ask.

    • @joephu
      @joephu 6 месяцев назад

      orientation does not matter, just the proper wire configuration

    What a fantastic video. I'd hug that man if he was near me.! Thank you very much! The instructions that came with board... garbage. The only thing different from mine and his... My yellow and green wire were in the board together. I cut the green (ground ) from yellow and attached it to the ground. My board also came with a brown thicker wire labeled ACC on the board. That must be for a multi speed fan blower. I followed the brown wire to its origin and a 3 connector (black white brown) plugs into a 2connector. (Black white) Brown empty. Once again.. fantastic video THANK YOU !

    I just installed this part. Problem that the connector to the spark wire was brittle and broke when I followed your video to cramp. I am thinking depending on where you get part the connector may be brittle or not. Maybe mention in video.
